SUPPORTING YOUR BUSINESS

Training & Tuition

Our courses are designed to bring you fully up to speed on how to use your roasting machine, adjust/follow profiles and successfully achieve a target taste. We offer a one day intensive course as well as a three day course that consists of modules to guide you through the whole roasting process.

Module 1

Module 1 helps to lay the foundations of roasting your own coffee. Learn how to understand your roaster, about profiling and the principles of roasting.

Module 2

To cement your learning in module 1, module 2 looks at cupping and evaluating your first roast. You will go through what is needed to make adjustments and to understand how to keep improving your roasting skills.

Module 3

Module 3 furthers your learning and guides you through the final pieces of information to perfect your roasting skills.

Roaster Servicing FAQs

Do you offer emergency call outs?

Sometimes unexpected issues will arise that require immediate attention and can’t wait for your next scheduled service. When this happens, you can depend on us for over-the-phone support and quick response times, nationwide.

The first step is to contact us by phone or email. We will be able to assess the situation and recommend the next steps to get you back up and running.

Regular preventative servicing helps minimise unexpected breakdowns, maximises uptime and ensures that your roaster is working optimally and outputting consistently great coffee every batch.

Talk to us about your roaster age, model and usage and we can help tailor a service schedule that will help you know that your roaster is being cared for and will be working smoothly for the long run. At a minimum, for most roasters, we recommend at least one regular service a year.

We offer a full range of roaster training & coffee profile development. This can be carried out on-site, and can be tailored to you specific requirements. The average training might include basic roaster cleaning and maintenance, how to use the control system on your roaster, how to develop coffee profiles and basic roastery management.
